Echoes from the Rifts® Episode Two

Here is the second part of our conversation with Erick Wujcik.  In episode one, we talked about his early days roleplaying and GMing, how he wrote TMNT, Mystic China and other games.  In this installment, he discusses his time in China and how he wrote Amber.

    Hello

my compliments for Echoes! Very well done. I like your style that you rather give only a few cues but let the interviewed person do the talking. Still, I cannot shake the feeling that you REALLY should do a part III for the conversation with Erick. A remarkable interview, indeed. Only it felt cut off. So, please kindly let it continue.

Thank you! Keep the good work up.

    Best regards
    Hendrik

It was cut off. That was the bad part. My mic died. I had like four more questions.

Thanks for listening. Come back next week for Jason Richards who was a great guy to chat with.

    Hiya,

it is a pleasure to listen. Would be great if you could continue the interview with Erick, as said. Notwithstanding, being a great fan of all things Palladium I cannot wait to see the next installment of Echoes in any case, and listening to what Jason has to say (enjoying The Rifter as I do, that interest is only logical, too).

    Best regards
    Hendrik

Great! I’ll be releasing it next weekend. I hope that it is as good as the Erick Wujick dialogues.

    Hey

These are great – really enjoyed them.

Any chance you will interview Kevin Long at some time? He is one of my favorite artists and, as I am sure you already know, seems to do a lot of artwork for Rifts.

    Cheers,

    Phil

come on, where’s the next show?

thankfully, your show has better audio quality than the talkshoe program, and i appreciate it immensly as i listen at work and fear my ears will blead at annother audio pop and fizzle, but regularity would be nice, i cant ask for a daily show, but i would appreciate once a week 😀

meantime, great job thus far, looking forward to more palladium podcasts, finally getting my fix!

I appreciate the kind words. As for once a week…I’ll see what I can do. 🙂

Nice work, it’s always interesting listening to Erick, especially since I’ve been a fan of Amber (both the books and the RPG) for a long time. Your ideas about N&SS in Rifts were also intriguing but need more fleshing out.

I wouldn’t tie yourself to a per-week schedule. I’d rather have one good episode every x number of weeks than a mediocre filler episode every week.
